PROJECT FEAR (AND ALL THE FEELS)

PROJECT FEAR (AND ALL THE FEELS) is a docu-play that tells the stories of Middle School and High School kids interviewed about the fears and challenges during this time in history. Besides the usual minefields of adolescence, youth today is challenged by social media pressures, gender identity questions, cancel culture, increased awareness of systemic racism, gun violence, climate change, an enormous political divide, war, the availability of illegal and prescription drugs, isolation and, of course, a pandemic.

More than fifty teens from a range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, from Alaska to New York to South Carolina to California, have been interviewed. These teens were prompted to tell stories that were meaningful to them. Their words are delivered onstage by student actors.
